Product Description
Type Rollerball Pen
Product Name We think this was part of their Gemline collection, made a complement to Dunhill's lighters.
Manufacturer and Year Dunhill, Germany -- 1970s. Despite Dunhill being based in the UK, in the 1970s and 1980s the pens were generally made by Montblanc or Reform in Germany.
Length 4-7/8"
Filling System Takes Dunhill rollerball refills originally, but standard international rollerball refills work as well. A new Schmidt 888 refill is installed.
Color Sterling Silver with panels of barleycorn patterning alternating with smooth panels. The cap band says "Germany Sterling".
Condition Excellent condition. The cap and barrel have light scratching and polishing marks. There are scattered touches of tarnish visible, but overall the pen is quite shiny and attractive in hand, though it could use more polishing. The imprints on the clip and cap lip are clear.
