Product Description
Type Vintage lever filler fountain pen
Product Name "RedEnd"
Manufacturer and Year Eagle Pencil Co., New York, 1920s-30s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Lever filler, restored here at Peyton Street Pens
Color Black chased plastic with red plastic ends (we don't think it's hard rubber, as it doesn't give off that distinctive odor when rubbed)
Nib MEDIUM 14k flexible nib (it's marked 14k on a shield, no brand or anything)... it flexes from medium-fine to broad plus. It looks beautiful, with a thin but adequate amount of tipping material.
Condition Excellent with some light scratching and wear on the body and cap, along with some minor wear on the lever, and small spots of corrosion on the upper end of the clip (see photos). There is a vague minor spot of discoloration in red top piece, where a little darker spot shows in it. Otherwise this pen is looking beautiful with no chips or cracks and only a little wear on the imprint. It's writing like a charm with a nicely exprssive nib.
