Product Name Unknown. Eclipse was a less than top tier maker, but this is a nicely made pen.
Manufacturer and Year Eclipse, circa 1930s
Length 5-13/16" capped.
Filling System Lever filler has been restored with a new sac. The pencil part takes 1.1mm (or "thick") leads, which you extend by twisting its cone. We'll include a small container of vintage leads.
Color Black hard rubber in a lined pattern with gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE 14k Warranted nib. Very smooth. Please see writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition for this dark, shiny, vintage pen/pencil combination. The black color is shiny and consistent. Starting from the nib, the barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. There is a crack beneath the breather hole on the nib that does not affect functionality. The full barrel has just some light scratching. The cone has brassing and some light pitting all around. The lever and clip have significant plating wear, typical for Eclipse. The cap has very light scratches. The imprints on the clip and lever are clear.
