Color Aztec Gold Flake is one of the three launch colors when the Pearlette was moved from the Signature to the Production Line. It is a gold and brown cracked ice acrylic, very similar to their Flecked Tortoise material. The pen is based off of a cigar shape with convex beveled endings. The clip is gold colored. The pen is slightly transparent and light can be seen throughout.
Nib MEDIUM steel nib, with a two-toned finish. This is a JoWo #5 nib with the Edison logo on it. Edison adjusted nibs tend to write on the wetter side. This nib is quite smooth. Other JoWo #5 nib units can be used with this pen by unscrewing the entire nib unit and replacing it with another.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, and with no cracks, chips, dents or dings. This is a beautifully colored and intricately patterned pen that has lovely illumination through the material. The cap and barrel have some light marks with a few long, thin lines that were probably caused by the ribbon in the pen box. The clip has light scratching. The imprint is clear. We don't believe the pen has been inked.
