Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a small, ornate, shiny gold ring top pen with a lovely floral, swirl, pattern. The cap and barrel are fully encased with the engraved gold filigree. There is plating wear on the barrel just under the black section. The end of the barrel has plating wear and dents. The lever looks very good and the rest of the barrel pattern looks nice with just some microscratching. The cap band has some light plating wear along the bottom edge and moderate microscratching. The cap patterning looks good. The top piece of the cap has moderate microscratching. The ring top looks great. The cartouche has ornate cursive initials (A.L.P.). The imprints are clear.
