Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a lovely, shiny, elegant and vintage looking set that makes an impression. The fountain pen barrel is dark and shiny with marks caused by the cap lip and with light to moderate scratching mainly alongside the lever. The lever has scratching and plating wear. The cap has microscratching and a scratch line that looks as if the clip was pushed around the entire circumference of the pen. The clip has moderate microscratching and brassing on the side corners, with a couple of longer scratch lines reaching over the top. The mechanical pencil barrel has light scratching. The cone has many tiny dots of plating wear. The "Thin Lead" cursive impring is clear. The cap and clip look excellent with just some microscratching. The clicker mechanism looks great. All imprints on both pieces are clear.
