Filling System The pen is a lever filler, we've replaced the sac and it's working very well. The pencil takes 0.9 mm (or "thin") leads, which it extends via the repeater system - you press on the top of the cap, just like a modern pencil. The cone is marked: "Thin Lead".
Color Black with striped green and black colored caps. Extra wide cap bands. The derbies and trim are gold plated.
Nib MANIFOLD FINE 14k nib.
Condition Excellent condition for this vintage fountain pen and mechanical pencil set. This is a lovely, shiny set with classic styling including a highly tapered fountain pen. The fountain pen barrel has marks caused by the cap lip, light to moderate surface scratching, and a short thin crack at the very end of the barrel. The lever has one plating wear mark. The cap has moderate microscratching. The cap band has light microscratching. The clip has plating wear along the edges and moderate microscratching. The derby has pitting alongside the top of the clip, a dent and a few small pinhole scratches on the back side. The mechanical pencil has moderate scratching on the black barrel portion. The cone has brassing, plating wear, and moderate scratching (it has "Thin Lead" etched on it). The cap has light microscratching. The clip has very light microscratching. The clip band has some plating wear to the right of the top of the clip. The clicker has plating wear on the first rung. The imprints are clear.
