Type fountain pen with syringe filling system
Product Name Gate City Belmont Unbreakable Pen, designed by Richard Binder. This is a remake. You can find information about the revival on the Gate City website.
Manufacturer and Year Gate City, USA -- circa 2010. The pen was made by Bexley and is not currently manufactured.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Syringe filling system. You unscrew the end of the barrel to reveal a plunger that you push and pull to fill the barrel. It has been tested and it is working well. This pen holds a bit under 2ml of ink. Here is a link to the Gate City instructions on filling.
Color Blue translucent acrylic with silver foil inclusions. Ink reservoir is just the clear blue. Silver colored trim.
Nib Broad steel two-toned #6 nib.
Condition Excellent condition. The acrylic looks great and the transparent part of the pen is clear. There is some glue underneath the threads in the cap that's stained slightly red. The trim and imprint are clear. No cracks or chips.
