Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is an ornate and elegant pen in a classic vintage design with a floral pattern. The floral gold filagree has some light microscratching; it is lovely and shiny and the middle cartouche shows a fancy initial (possibly an F). The black end piece of the barrel has some small bite-like marks (just a few) and moderate scratching. The black hard rubber has a nice, even dark color. Some of the black sections have scratches or surface irregularity. The long slender black section has normal scratching from capping. There is light plating wear along the edges of the top gold piece.
