Condition Excellent condition. This is an ornate and elegant pen in a classic vintage design with lovely filigree patterned overlay. The overlay has brassing around nearly all of the edges on both cap and barrel. The cartouche is blank, though there is brassing and tiny dots of pitting. The black end piece of the barrel has moderate scratching. The section has moderate to heavy scratching. There is a crack in the cap lip. It runs straight for about 1/4", and then curves along the contour of the filigree; we've included a closeup of this area in the photos. The cap lip edge of the overlay is very rough and there is some corrosion there.
