Product Description
Type Vintage lever-filling fountain pen
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, late 1930's -- USA. Gregg had relationships with several different penmakers of the time, but according to this history, this looks like it was made by Sheaffer. It's basically the same shape as a flat-top Sheaffer 5-30.
Length 5" long, and slim.
Filling System Lever filler, working perfectly with a new sac. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Black. Gold-plated trim. The top of the cap is set with an enamel disk with a Gregg logo.
Nib Gregg fine nib. There's a tiny bit of softness to this, and you can get a tiny bit of line variation with pressure. We've included a writing sample in the photos.
Condition Excellent condition. There is moderate microscratching on the cap and barrel. The lever has a lot of microscratching and some tiny dots of pitting. The clip has some brassing on the ball end. The cap band has a couple of dots of brassing on the edges. The logo in the cap top looks quite nice. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
