Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Grieshaber No.2 nib is smooth with nice tipping material. It's got decent flex and produced line variation from fine to broad, see writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The Grieshaber overlay pens we've seen tend to have really well done gold filled filigree work. The pen has not been personalized. There are a few light dings in the filigree. The section has scratches from the cap lip. The plating is in great condition. We do see some tiny dots of plating wear on the cap lip, and on the outer edges of the barrel overlay. The top edge of the cap has some brassing. The hard rubber has faded very slightly, but is still nice and dark. The only imprint we see is on the nib, which is clear. No cracks. We've fully restored the pen and it's working well.
