Color The material is described as "celluloid xylonite" (Xylonite was the name given by Daniel Spill to a plastic very similar to Celluloid which had been originally formulated in Britain by Alexander Parkes.) Blue marble, Brown marble, or Grey marble barrel with gold plated three-lines cap and gold end piece on barrel. The clip has the original tag that says 12k .... we suspect this refers to the nib material.
Nib Fine 14k nib. These nibs are very smooth and write well.
Condition New condition, a bit shopworn, in box. These pens are beautifully colored, shiny and elegant.
The clips have the original tag. The imprints are clear.
BLUE PEN: The blue marble barrel was not polished to as glossy a finish as the other two, which dulls the surface somewhat. The cap has microscratching; it is bright and shiny, as is the gold end of the barrel. There are a few micro-dots of pitting around the clip emblem.
BROWN PEN: The brown marble pen has light microscratching on the barrel and some minute pitting inside the lines of the cap and along the sides of the clip.
GREY PEN: The grey marble pen has microscratching on the cap and barrel and end piece.
