Filling System Twist filler. We've restored it and it's working well. For this filling system, the sac is affixed on the back end to a plug, with a pointed tack inserted into the plug which would turn and squeeze the sac. For a more detailed discussion of the design and the company, please see Richard Binder's reference page.
Color Black with a light eggshell band at the top of the cap. Gold ring-top hardware. The top of the cap has the Ingersol imprint.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE 14k nib. The nib has the Ingersoll "CHI" engraved. Please see writing sample in photographs.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, shiny, dark black pen. The cap and barrel have light scratching. The end of the barrel above the twist knob has some small marks. The cap also has some short, deep marks just above the cap lip near the grooved area. The eggshell band looks great and gives a nice contrast to the black. The ring-top is excellent. The imprints are clear.
