Nib FINE 14k gold nib. Note that we have not pulled out the nib to confirm this.
Condition Near mint condition in box. The pen has been dipped, but we don't believe that it was ever filled with ink. This solid, simple, but striking pen looks really good. No cracks, chips, dents, dings, or shiny marks. The imprint is clear. Ships in a large cardboard box with a booklet containing a lot of information about the 2000 and this special anniversary model, a microfiber polishing cloth, and a full bottle of Lamy blue-black ink.
In keeping with the simplicity of the pen's iconic design, the anniversary markings on the pen are ery subtle. At the top of the cap, the "LAMY" logo has a small "50" appended to it, and the number "4192/5000" is very lightly etched on the cap lip.
