Color Brushed or satin-finished stainless steel, with a shiny steel clip. Note that this version of the 2000 is significantly heavier (~55g) than the black Makrolon version (~25g).
Nib MEDIUM 14k gold which has been plated with platinum. It's very smooth, with excellent tipping. The nib size isn't normally visible, but we pulled it out and confirmed that it's a medium.
Condition Excellent + condition. This solid, simple, but striking pen looks really great. There are some barely visible surface marks on the barrel and piston knob, but you have to look pretty hard to find them. There is a faint ring from the cap lip on the barrel. The cap also has some tiny marks. The clip has light scratching near the open end. No dents or dings. The imprint is clear.
