Product Description
| Type | Vintage fountain pen with lever filling system ... very small and slender |
| Product Name | Model 40 (it's on the end of the barrel) |
| Manufacturer and Year | LeBoeuf, 1920s |
| Length | 4" |
| Filling System |
Lever filler. The pen has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens with a new silicone sac. |
| Color | Amber marble with gold filled trim. The color is discolored, with a darker cap and a few dark places here and there on the barrel. |
| Nib | Flexible fine LeBoeuf nib. It flexes easily, and we were able to get line variation from extra fine to broad without railroading, but even though the tines would flex easily beyond that point, Pelikan 4001 Blue would break. Not quite full flex. |

Condition
|
Really excellent condition aside from the discoloration. No cracks, chips or scratches. Light hand wear only. No brassing on the trim except for two dots on the lever.. The end of the barrel is threaded to facilitate cap posting, but the threads don't catch perfectly. The cap screws on to the barrel securely however. Fully guaranteed. Send it back for a refund if you don't like it, but it needs to be in the same condition as received. |
