Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Swan #2 14k nib is in beautiful condition, smooth with great tipping material. It's nicely flexible, with easy line variation from a fine to double broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. No cracks, chips or personalization, just light scratches and handwear on the cap and barrel. The cap finial has faded a bit to a dark brown color, which works nicely with the rest of the pen. The cap band has plating wear about 1/3 of the way around, and microscratching on the remainder. The clip has brassing on the ball end, on the "hump" near the top, and around the top edge. The imprints are very clear. It's a nice looking pen with an unusual filling system, and the nib makes it a real pleasure to write with.
