Filling System Lever filler, restored with a new sac
Color Black hard rubber. The hard rubber has a ringed or band pattern made by little hatch marks. The barrel has medium width gold filled cap bands and the cap has a nickel plated accommodation clip.
Nib 14k "L" nib. The L means it should write as a broad unflexed and it does write like a medium-broad flexible nib. The feeds says, "Blackbird." See the writing sample below. The nib has a little bit of a curve to it.
Condition Excellent Condition. The patterning is very consistent on the cap and barrel. There is some discoloration as seen when the cap is removed and to a lesser extent on the barrel. There are a few cap marks on the barrel end. The lever has little wear and the imprint is great. There are some small chips in the section that aren't immediately obvious. No scratches or cracks.
