Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Unknown - it is very similar to the Moore pens with military style clips, which makes sense since Moore produced this brand for the Rexall drug store chain.
Manufacturer and Year Monogram Pen Co., USA - circa early 1940s. (Made by Moore.)
Length Just under 4-1/2"
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaed the sac and it's working well.
Color Gorgeous brown colored finish with black lines, this is one of the "snakeskin" patterns of ringed celluloid. Gold plated trim.
Nib FINE nib is marked "Forever 3 14k". It is fairly flexible, with decent tipping, and feels smooth on paper.
Condition Excellent condition. There is some handwear on the cap and barrel, possible bite marks near the end of the barrel, some scratches and small ink stains on the clear section. Some plating wear on the clip fastener on top of the cap (see pic). Clip does not touch the surface of the barrel. Color and pattern are very attractive. No cracks, dings, or personalization.
