Product Name 147 "Traveler". The 147 Traveller is the same size as a 146, but has the added convenience of using cartridges, which can be easier when you're on the go.
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- 1990s or 2000s, this is a current model but the case has changed some over time. The model was launched in the early 1990s.
Length 5-11/16".
Filling System Cartridge filler. You unscrew the end piece and pull out a tray that can fit two standard international short cartridges. One cartridge is in the barrel and five cartridges are in the case.
Color Bordeaux resin with gold plated trim. The case is firm shiny black leather with the Montblanc emblem on one side.
Nib MEDIUM 4810 Montblanc 14k gold nib. (Not marked, but we judge it to be a medium.) Please recall that Montblanc nibs run narrow.
Condition Near mint condition. No cracks, chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The pen has light handwear and some minor microscratches, but still looks very sharp. The end piece turns easily and the cartridge tray has no resistance entering and exiting the barrel. Ships in a 147 Traveler box with case, though the sticker on the box is for a slightly different model.
