Product Description
Type Vintage piston filler fountain pen
Product Name 344 (it's written on the knob). The 3 indicates that it is one of Montblanc's so-called third-tier pens, the next 4 means that it has a piston-filling mechanism, and the final 4 is the nib size. Note that even though these were Montblanc's "economy" pens in the 1950s, the quality is still quite high.
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany, 1950s
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System Piston filler, tested and working well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Black with gold plated trim
Nib LEFT OBLIQUE DOUBLE BROAD, marked OBB on the piston cap. In addition to the cut of the nib, it's also got a tiny bit of flex. See writing sample.

The Montblanc emblem on top of the cap is slightly yellowed with age, but otherwise perfect. The ink viewing window is clear. All imprints, including the model number and nib size on the piston knob, and the Montblanc imprint on the cap are clear.
