Product Description
Type Cartridge/converter filling fountain pen, working well
Product Name Boheme Doue line small size, retractable nib. Model 36003.
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- c. 2007. This is a discontinued design.
Length 4-5/16" capped. With the cap posted and the nib extended, the pen measures 5-5/16"
Filling System Cartridge filler which takes the small international cartridge, so you aren't limited to just using MB cartridges. To use the pen, remove the cap and screw it onto the end of the barrel, which also extends the nib. When you are finished writing, you unscrew the cap from the end of the barrel, which also retracts the nib. Flip open the end piece to access the nipple for the cartridge. (A converter will not fit.) We will include a packet of cartridges.
Color The barrel is black matte resin with a debossed pattern of circles or dimples. The cap also gold plated, with the same dimples on a matte-finished portion, and shiny gold at either end of the cap. There is a simulated onyx set in the clip.
Nib Medium 4810 Montblanc 18k two-toned gold nib. It's a little bouncy and smooth with lots of tipping material.
Condition Near mint condition, in box with paperwork. No cracks, chips, dings or dents, or personalization. There are some small scratches on the shiny cap bands, as well as the clip. Both the star emblem at the top of the cap and the onyx set into the clip look perfect. The demonstration (empty) cartridge is still set in the barrel, so it's possible that the pen was never inked. The nib retracts easily. The nib size sticker is attached to the barrel. Ships in Montblanc box with two cartridges, booklet, and outer cardboard box.
