Product Name Boheme Rouge, retractable. The Bohemes are generally identified by their jewels but this one is named for the color of the jewel instead.
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- 2000s-2010s, this is a discontinued design in the line.
Length 4-5/16". This is the small size.
Filling System Cartridge filler. You flip open the end piece to access the nipple for the cartridge. A converter will not fit. A cartridge will be shipped with the pen.
Color Black with gold plated trim and a clip jewel. The clip jewel is a transparent synthetic ruby.
Nib Medium 4810 Montblanc 14k two-toned gold nib. It's firm and smooth with lots of tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, dings or dents, or personalization. There is microscratching on the cap and barrel. There is some handwear and polishing marks on the pen, but it still looks very sharp. The cap band has handwear and microscratches, but there is no brassing. The nib retracts and extends easily. (In Montblanc box, however this box seems to have originally contained the ballpoint.)
