Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Model 146
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- 1975-79, based off the nib, viewing window, feed, and lack of Germany imprint.
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Piston filler. Fully cleaned and tested.
Color Black, gold plated trim.
Nib FINE. The nib is a spring-y 14C Montblanc 4810 nib. It is an unlabeled nib and we judge it to be a fine. Montblanc nibs run narrow so it is more similar to a Japanese fine than to a Western fine. The single tone nib is in excellent condition. It has the split ebonite feed.
Condition Excellent + condition. The pen looks great with no ink in the viewing window and just a bit of blue on the plastic piston seal. There is a bit of brassing on the edges of the clip and a few microscratches on the cap. The pen has handwear throughout but no major scratches, or wear. No cracks or dents. In Montblanc box.
