Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- 2019 or later (the booklet has a 2019 copyright date on it). The pen has brass piston threads, a two-section barrel, and 18K tri-tone nib, all of which characterize the 149 from 1996 through today.

Nib EXTRA-FINE 18k nib, confirmed by the tag on the outer box. The nib is a tri-tone 18K Montblanc 4810 nib. The pen has a late plastic feed.
Condition Near mint condition, in a black display box with outer cardboard box, with original booklet. This is a large-size, impressive, executive pen, in velvety, shiny black - with the modern twist of rose gold trim! The cap and barrel are pristine. All of the trim looks fantastic, with just some small touches of polishing marks. The ink viewing window is clear, wtih no staining or signs of ink. The clip is perfect. The star is perfect. The imprints are clear.
