Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Model 149. The serial number on the pen matches the serial number on the box and on the warranty booklet.
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- 2010s. The pen has brass piston threads, a two-section barrel, and 18K tri-tone nib, all of which characterize the 149 from 1996 through now. Additionally, the guarantee certificate is signed by the original retailer as having been purchased in August 2019, so this pen was likely made in the last few years.
Length 5-7/8"
Filling System Piston filler. It's been cleaned and tested and is working well.
Color Black barrel and cap with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE 18k nib. The nib is a tri-tone 18K Montblanc 4810 nib. The pen has a late plastic feed.
Condition Excellent + condition, in original box with paperwork. There is light microscratching and polishing marks. Some of the trim's plating looks a bit rough along the edges. All of the imprints are crisp and clear. The ink viewing window is very clear, and the plastic piston plunger has some slight ink staining, but nothing that should affect the function of the pen. The box and outer cardboard sleeve booth look fantastic.
