Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- Post-1989. (In 1989 they started putting serial numbers on the pens, and this pen has serial number BI1405519. In 1989 they switched from saying "W GERMANY" and started saying "GERMANY," and this one says Germany.)
Length 5-7/16".
Filling System Takes Montblanc screw in rollerball refills. A working refill is installed and is writing smoothly, but we don't know how much ink is left in it.
Color Black with gold plated trim. White Montblanc emblem on top of cap.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny rollerball pen that is elegant. The cap and barrel have moderate scratching. There is a small chip on the cap just under the gold band where the G in Germany begins. The cap band has light microscratching. The clip and clip ring have moderate microscratching. The cone has heavy microscratching with a few dots of plating wear. There is a serial number on the clip ring: "BI1405519". The white Montblanc star logo on top of the cap has a deep scratches in one area. The imprints are clear.
