Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- Pre-1989. (In 1989 they started putting serial numbers on the pens. This pen has no serial number. In 1989 they switched from saying "W GERMANY" and started saying "GERMANY," and this one says W. Germany.)
Length 5-3/8".
Filling System Takes Montblanc screw in rollerball refills. A new refill has been installed.
Color Black with gold plated trim. White Montblanc emblem on top of cap.
Condition Excellent condition, in box, with paperwork and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny rollerball pen that is elegant. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The cap band, clip, and gold bands have light to moderate microscratching. The gold band near the end of the barrel has heavier microscratching. The white Montblanc star logo on top of the cap looks great. The imprints are clear.
