Product Name Meisterstuck Solitaire. We believe that this is the "Classique" size.
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- fairly recent.
Length Just under 5-1/2" long.
Filling System Takes 0.7mm refills, and uses a twist mechanism. There is an eraser underneath the cap. The lead size sticker is still attached to the pencil.
Color Vermeil - sterling silver with gold-plating. The surface has a barleycorn or "Grain d'Orge" pattern all over. The serial number GD1014278 is engraved on the clip band, along with "Germany" and "Metal 3".
Condition Excellent + condition for this very shiny, beautiful, monochromatic pencil. There is a flaw -- a shallow dent on the cap, about 3/4" down from the top; we've included a detailed shot of this area in the photos. There is only microscratching on the cap and barrel portions. The clip has a spot of plating wear about 3/8" from the open end. There is some light scratching on the cap jewel. Some spots, especially the cap bands, show hints of tarnish peeking through the gold plating, which are much more prominent in the photos than in hand. The imprints are clear.
