Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a dark, velvety black, shiny pen with a unique scalloped cap band. The barrel has light scratching. The blind cap is imprinted with an "OB" for the oblique nib and "042" for the model number. The blue viewing window under the cap looks excellent. The cap has light with some moderate scratching. The cap band has microscratching but it is very unique and pretty. The clip and clip ring have heavy scratching and plating wear. All imprints, including the cap imprint, "Monte Rosa", are clear.
