Product Description
Type Vintage cartridge/converter fountain pen in a Montblanc leather case.
Product Name Noblesse product line (this is an early version, probably the second style, not the Noblesse Oblige line)
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc -- Germany, probably 1970s-80s
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Takes Montblanc or international style ink cartridges or converters. A working converter will be included.
Color Gold plated finish in a pattern of vertical lines with a lined design with a fogged gold colored section. There's a black Montblanc icon on either end of the pen, though the one on the end of the barrel has faded to a lighter color.
Nib EXTRA FINE 14k 585 nib The 14k nib is very smooth with lovely tipping. It's semi flexible with a very soft feel but only slight line variation from extra fine to a thin medium.
Condition Very nice condition. There are a couple of tiny chips in the gold plating on the cap and two tiny, light indents. There's light scratching and wear on the cap and barrel and some light brassing on the clip (see photos) as well as some minor wear around the Montblanc icons on the ends. No cracks, dents, or personalization. The imprints look good and the pen is working very well. The leather case is a little worn but looks lovely and the clasp still works well.
