Product Name Montblanc Writers Edition Carlo Collodi, who was the author of "The Adventures of Pinocchio". In addition to the limited edition number above, the pen also has a serial number XW111188272 engraved on the clip ring.

Filling System Takes Montblanc ballpoint refills. A working refill is included. The "cap" portion unscrews in order to reach the refill.
Color The barrel is dark brown with a long, satiny finished champagne-gold cone. The cap portion is black plastic with a gold "skeleton" overlay featuring images representing Pinocchio's magical imaginary world. Carlo Collodi's signature is reproduced on the ring at the end of the barrel, above the clip ring.
Condition Near mint in a box that resembles a bound book, and with all paperwork and outer paper box. Hardly any microscratching anywhere. There is light signs of usdage only, no cracks or chips. This is a handsome, good-sized, ornate pen. The imprints are clear.
