Filling System Piston filler.
Color Tapred black pen with a rounded cap end. There are three bands of decreasing width and detailing. The widest band is 1/2" wide and has large leaves on it. The vermeil trim is 925 sterling silver with gold plating over it. Volatire's signature is to the right of the clip. It has a gray tinted viewing window
Nib Fine 18k Nib. It's very smooth and writes like a narrow fine. We generally find Montblanc nibs to run narrow.The nib is slightly springy and is decorated with a diamond and squares pattern.
Condition Excellent + condition. The pen has minor handwear overall. Some of the trim, particularly around the detailing, shows a hint of the silver beneath the gold plating and there are fine microscratches throughout the cap. It looks great, but it doesn't look brand new. The pen ships in a Montblanc Writers Edition Voltaire box.
