Type Limited Edition Fountain Pen
Product Name Montblanc Writers Edition Alexandre Dumas. The Dumas model had an initial design error where it included the wrong Alexandre Dumas's signature on the cap. This pen is #11336/20000 N (15000 were sold individually and 5000 were sold in sets. The N means that this is a "corrected" replacement cap). Filling System Piston filler. Tested with water and working well.
Color Dark brown cap, section, and end piece with a white marble body. It has lots of gold plated trim and the fine bands have designs. Alexandre Dumas's (the correct one) signature is to the right of the clip.
Nib Medium 18k Nib. It's very smooth and slightly springy. The nib's face and is decorated with rhodium masking and a fleur-de-lis imprint. The masking looks great.
Condition Near mint with hardly any handwear and clear imprints. No plating wear but light handwear on the pen and some polishing marks on the trim. The sticker indicating the nib width is still affixed to the barrel. Ships in the original Writers Series box, with booklet and outer sleeve.
