Type Limited Edition Fountain Pen
Product Name Montblanc Writers Edition Alexandre Dumas. See the Montblanc page on this pen model. #12959/20000 N (15000 were sold individually and 5000 were sold in sets. The N means that this is a "corrected" replacement cap). The Dumas model had an initial design error where it included the wrong Alexandre Dumas's signature on the cap. The Montblanc website describes the issue incorrectly. A comparison of the signatures and a description of what happened can be found here

Length 5-3/8".
Filling System Piston filler.
Color Black cap, section, and end piece with a white marble body. It has lots of gold plated trim and the fine bands have designs. Alexandre Dumas's (the correct one) signature is to the right of the clip.
Nib Medium 18k Nib. It's very smooth and writes like a medium-fine. We generally find Montblanc nibs to run narrow.The nib is slightly springy and is decorated with rhodium masking and a fleur-de-lis imprint. The masking looks great.
Condition Near mint with hardly any handwear and clear imprints. No plating wear and it looks new. The pen looked brand new when we got it, but we discovered the barrel had a crack in it and we sent it to Montblanc where it was repaired and serviced (we will ship the Montblanc receipt that gives you a one year warranty from Feb 2018.)
No box or paperwork.
