Filling System Piston filler. It has been tested and is working well.
Color The body is made of a blue-green gray resin and the cap is solid sterling silver. The cap has a domed piece in its top and deep ridges carved into it lengthwise. There is a wide area with etched bands to give the appearance of an additional cap band. Similar bands are between the piston knob and the barrel of the body. Like with all of the pens in this series, Charles Dicken's signature is on the pen. This time the signature is etched into the barrel.
Nib Medium 18k Nib. It's very smooth and writes like a medium-fine. We generally find Montblanc nibs to run narrow and the barrel sticker and box both indicate medium. The nib is slightly springy and has the initials CD carved into its face.
Condition Near Mint condition. The pen has some light handwear and there are a few small marks in the cap. Due to the patterning of the cap, it is a little tricky to polish and it easily collects fingerprints. The pen has its original barrel sticker on the piston knob. It ships in its original box with sleeve and paperwork.
