Color The body and cap are made of a grey-green resin with a matte finish, and the trim is silver. The cap has a large domed piece in its top. The clip is in the shape of a wolf's head, referring to the wolves who cared for Mowgli in "The Jungle Book". Bands at the top of the cap and near the barrel end piece are engraved with a quotation from his famous poem "If": "If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs ... you'll be a man, my son!". The author's initials are reproduced in the cap.
Nib The pen originally came with an 18k fine nib, and there is a grind on it. We were told it's an XF grind by Masuyama. We've tested it, and it's really smooth! The nib is engraved with a globe.
Condition Near mint condition, in box with paperwork. There is light handwear and microscratching visible under magnification, but in hand the pen looks fantastic and like new. It ships in its original book-shaped box with sleeve and paperwork.
