Manufacturer and Year Montegrappa, Italy -- 1990s.
Length 5-7/16 inches, a semi-fat pen with dimension similar to Pelikan m800 or the Montblanc 146.
Filling System It's fitted with a Montegrappa converter which can be removed to accept cartridges. It is international refill compatible. We've cleaned and tested it to ensure it is working properly.
Color Matte finished Erica Wood root with sterling trim. Wide 7/16 inch wide cap band marked 1912 Montegrappa, and a sterling end piece with threads in it for posting the cap.
Nib Fine Montegrappa 18k gold two-tone nib mostly silver colored with a Greek key design in gold. It started is labeled F.
Condition Near mint condition with only light handwear evident on the sterling parts of the pen. No cracks, dents, or personalization. The pen has been cleaned and tested. It's working very well. When we acquired the pen we noticed that that plastic inner cap was cracked, so we sent it to Montegrappa to be replaced. The wood is meant to discolor over time from hand oils but this looks like the original coloring.
