Length 5-7/16 inches, a semi-fat pen with dimension similar to Pelikan M800 or the Montblanc 146.
Filling System It's fitted with a Schmidt converter which can be removed to accept cartridges. It is international refill compatible. We've cleaned and tested it to ensure it is working properly.
Color Red striated celluloid with sterling silver trim, a wide 7/16 inch wide cap band marked 1912 Montegrappa, and a sterling end piece with threads in it for posting the cap.
Nib Broad Cursive italic Montegrappa 18k gold two-tone nib mostly silver colored with a Greek key design in gold. It started as a broad and is labeled B, but was cut for line variation. It is crisp but smooth. Some of the masking was worn away during the nib grind work. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The clip looks great. The cap band has polishing marks and some small scratches. There is a 1/4" long scratch on the section, near the threads. The barrel has light to moderate scratching. The sterling trim is quite bright and shiny. No cracks, dings, dents, or personalization. The imprints are clear, and the pen is working very well.
