Length 5-7/16 inches, a semi-fat pen with dimension similar to Pelikan m800 or the Montblanc 146.
Filling System It's fitted with a Montegrappa converter which can be removed to accept cartridges. It is international refill compatible. We've cleaned and tested it to ensure it is working properly.
Color Red striated celluloid with sterling silver trim, a wide 7/16 inch wide cap band marked 1912 Montegrappa, and a sterling end piece with threads in it for posting the cap.
Nib Broad Cursive italic Montegrappa 18k gold two-tone nib mostly silver colored with a Greek key design in gold. It started as a broad and is labeled B, but was cut for line variation. It is crisp but smooth. Some of the masking was worn away during the nib grind work. See the writing sample below.
Condition Near mint condition with only light handwear evident on the sterling parts of the pen. There is some tarnish on the underside of the clip but the rest of the sterling is mostly shiny. No cracks, dings, dents, or personalization. The pen has been cleaned and tested. It's working very well. In heavy green leather Montegrappa box with user booklet and pen sleeve.
