Manufacturer and Year Morrison Fountain Pen Company, New York (1930s). Morrison was one of the third tier pen makers, but this is one of their nicest pens.
Length 5-1/2" and over-sized
Filling System Lever filler, new sac installed. Working well and guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Black w gold trim. We think it's probably celluloid and not hard rubber. Double cap band and triple bands above the clip.
Nib FINE 14k Morrison NY Nib
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large-sized, shiny pen with lots of gold trim accents. The color has faded slightly, not much off from the original black. The barrel looks excellent. The lever is excellent. The cap has a few microdot scratch marks. The double cap band has light microscratching and the bottom band has plating wear. The triple top cap bands look nice with just some light microscratching. The bottom band of the triplet has a small piece missing and it has light plating wear (see photo below). The clip has plating wear on the ball end and along the edges. The imprints are clear.
