Manufacturer and Year Nakaya, Japan -- recent. The Decapod models have not been available since May 2023, and there is no word on when they will return.

Filling System Nakaya cartridge or converter fill. The pen is fitted with a converter, and there is a box of Platinum blue-black cartridges in the box.
Color This is the Kuro-tamenuri - black over red urushi. The clip and nib are ruthenium-plated.
Nib Soft Fine 14k nib writes very smoothly.
Condition New condition, in box. This pen has never been inked. There is microscratching visible under magnification, but in the hand the surface is shiny and glossy. Urushi produces a nearly impervious finish, and this pen will serve you well for years to come. The clip has a tiny mark on one side (see photo below), but other than that looks fantastic, no brassing or plating wear. The nib has some patina along the slit and towards the back, but this should not affect the pen's performance.
Ships in original Nakaya box and padded pen sleeve.
Nakaya is the luxury line of Platinum and their cartridges and converters are interchangeable.
