Filling System Piston filling system. Tested and working well.
Color Briarwood - brown, but some areas are kind of olive green. This wooden material used by Omas is famous for changing color, especially the dyed colors, but this looks fairly natural. Gold plated trim. Rounded design, greek key work cap band and section band.
Nib FINE Omas 18k two-toned nib. The writing performance is excellent, and there is very good tipping material. Some of the masking on the face of the nib is uneven, which does not affect the writing.
Condition Excellent condition. The wood surface has some small shallow nicks. The clip and cap band show only light wear, no brassing or plating wear. The section has some scratching, and the band around the section has scratching and some small marks. The color of the cap and barrel are slightly different (the cap has more brown, whereas the barrel is brown with some olive green), but that may be attributed to natural variation in the wood, or fading, or perhaps differences in how the wood and varnish have interacted over time.
