Filling System Piston filling system. We've cleaned and tested it and it's working well.
Color Black and clear with gold colored or plated trim. The cap band has a greek key pattern on it.
Nib BROAD ITALIC nib is really lovely, smooth with excellent tipping material. We assume it is gold plated, the only mark on it is "Omas B," and there is not a spot of wear on the plating. It produces really lovely fine lines on the side-stroke, and nice large broads on the down-stroke. It's got a little flexibility to it as well, on top of the italic cut. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition aside from some black staining in the inside of the barrel and some light microscratching. We've had these in other colors, and the barrel staining always seems to match the color, so perhaps the barrel comes already lightly tinted. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. It's working perfectly.
