Manufacturer and Year Omas, Italy -- probably dating from the 1980s or 1990s. Older style non-roller clip.
Length 5-1/4" -- this is the length of the newer Milords, as well as the older Paragons.
Filling System Piston filler. We have checked it and it's working well
Color A burgundy color, officially designated maroon, barrel made of natural cotton resin. The barrel and cap have gold trim and are 12-faceted. The barrel is labeled "Omas Extra."
Nib 18k Fine nib, very smooth like one expects from an Omas. There is enough spring in the nib to get a bit of line variation. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. Some handwear and microscratching. The top of the cap has some scratches around the top edge. The trim all looks excellent, no brassing or plating loss. The pen looks great and the imprint is crisp. We replaced a cracked nib collar. The collars can be fragile and prone to cracking, so we cannot refund your money if you pull or manipulate the nib-feed-collar.
