Product Name Paragon
Manufacturer and Year Omas, Italy --1997-2005, based off of the roller clip.
Length 5-5/8" -- this was the largest pen at the time and considered a Paragon model. It is smaller than the current Paragons which debuted in 2005, and a bit bigger than the current Milords.
Filling System Piston filler has been checked and is working well
Color A black barrel and cap made of natural cotton resin. The barrel and cap have gold trim and are 12-faceted. Section features the same triple-band Greek Key design as the cap. The barrel is labeled "Omas Extra."
Nib 18k Medium nib with a bit of spring and smooth like Omas is expected to be. There's enough spring to get some line variation, from a medium to double broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. A few light marks on the facets, but otherwise very shiny. Tiny bit of brassing on the top of the clip, but otherwise the trim looks great. Imprint is crisp and clear.
