Filling System Japanese-style eyedropper. It has the large capacity of an eyedropper pen (approximately 3.6ml), but the added benefit of a shut-off valve to keep the pen from leaking. To fill it, unscrew the section and drip ink into the barrel with an eyedropper. When you're ready to write, unscrew the blind cap a bit, which releases a rubber stopper inside and allows ink to flow into the feed. You can then close it up and get a couple of pages of writing, or leave it open for longer sessions. When the blind cap is closed, the stopper prevents temperature or pressure changes causing burping or excessive ink flow.
Color "Red" is what Opus calls this one, and the cap and barrel have swirls of black, red, yellow, and white. The finials are deep brown, set off by bands of white resin. There is a red colored ink viewing window. The clip is black.
