Filling System Japanese-style eyedropper. It has the large capacity of an eyedropper pen (approximately 3.6ml), but the added benefit of a shut-off valve to keep the pen from leaking. To fill it, unscrew the section and drip ink into the barrel with an eyedropper, When you're ready to write, unscrew the blind cap a bit, which releases a rubber stopper inside and allows ink to flow into the feed. You can then close it up and get a couple of pages of writing, or leave it open for longer sessions. When the blind cap is closed, the stopper prevents temperature or pressure changes causing burping or excessive ink flow.
Color Light Blue - a lovely light turquoise color. There is a translucent green ink viewing window just below the section. Silver colored clip and trim.
Nib EXTRA-FINE steel nib. Firm and smooth.
Condition Excellent +, in box, with paperwork. This is a chunky, beautifully colored, shiny pen that makes a statement. Light scratching on cap and barrel. The trim looks fantastic, with no brassing or plating wear. The imprint on the cap band is clear. The box looks almost perfect, and the foam inserts give your pen a secture resting place.
Note: the glass eyedropper that was originally included with the pen is missing. You can use any kind of eyedropper to fill the pen. We will include one of our eye dropper kits.
