Product Description
Type Ballpoint and mechanical pencil set.
Product Name We think this model was called something like "Slim Profile".
Manufacturer and Year Papermate, USA -- possibly 1980s or '90s, based on the pen's refill.
Length Both pieces are 5-3/8" long.
Filling System The pen takes an older Papermate "Powerpoint" or "Lubriglide" refill. We've also read that this is an ISO G1 standard refill - an older standard, and if you can find a Schneider 225 ballpoint refill, that should work. The refill that's currently installed was pretty dried up, but several minutes of scribbling did get the ink flowing, so the pen is currently working. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, and there's a dried-up eraser underneath the cap.
Color Brushed stainless steel with silver colored trim. Each clip has a small circular badge with the Stanford seal on it.
Condition Near mint condition, in box, with no cracks, chips, dents or dings. These are slender matte finish writing instruments. No shiny spots, or cross scratches. There are light marks around the seals. The imprints are clear.
